Squit

A squit is slang for a small insignificant person. Quite sad really. No one should be called a squit if you ask me. Lots of invented meanings for squit on the blog today. Thanks for your participation. I'm pleased to say that a new blogger, Code Cutie, is today's winner on the poll. Well done, CC.

Squit is the kind of person that talks and talks and never gives you room to talk.
A squit not just hogs the conversation, they don't listen either. To you or to themselves.

Jane had the car all packed up ready to go on holiday when her neighbough, Mary came up and started talking to her.
Mary was a real squit, the loaded car, running engine and Jane indicating to pull out wasn't enough to stop her talking.

Squit is the noise made by liquid rushing through a nozzle.

"She pointed the windex bottle at the window, squeezed the trigger, and heard the squit as the pretty blue fluid rushed to the glass.

A squit is a nimble street urchin, a smallish one, very Dickensian I should think. The sort that makes you feel pity for them one moment, then makes off with your wallet in the next.

By the way, you look lovely in that frock. :-)

Squit is a newly discovered species of squid that likes stealing diver's utilities.

"Fred, was diving, and lost his camera and some of his air to a squit."

A squit is what you call a leaking pen.

The accountant groaned when he saw the big blob of ink on his shirt pocket, grimacing as he threw out the squit.

To quit ineffectively, as in "I squit smoking five times before I actually quit."

squit describes the posture you take when you use the toilet but don't want to actually have your bottom touch the seat -- as in a desperate stop at the filthy gas station in the middle of nowhere...

The mad fishicist's definition is gross -- but good.

To squit is to fantasize about quitting something, usually your job. When you have a really bad day at work and go home muttering under your breath about how you are going to resign tomorrow, and start dictating your resignation letter in your head; then the next day you go to work and don't do anything about it....well, that's squitting.
