Muffineer

A muffineer is actually a small bottle for sprinkling sugary or salty toppings on muffins. What a wonderful range of meanings on the blog today. I was excited to see so many participants but, of course, it made the job of choosing three for the poll excruciating. The winner on the poll for the day was the appropriately named Muffy M. Well done, MM.

A muffineer is a person who steals the best muffins from the baskets at work. He may not like pumpkin chocolate chip himself, but it is the best muffin, so he nabs it before anyone else can. He then prominently displays this muffin on the corner of his desk like an edible trophy no one else can touch.

muffineer~noun~a specialized baker; an occupation where a baker specializes in developing new varieties of muffins and/or scones.

"Out of the 15 girls in Kaylee's baking class, only three had their sights set on being muffineers!"

An engineer who really enjoys muffins.

All this talk of muffins is making me hungry. Sadly, though, a muffineer is an engineer in the automotive industry whose job is to design mufflers. You might think this is not a very important job, but if you've ever been subjected to the ear-splitting racket of a car with a bad muffler, you know that a muffineer is worth his weight in gold!

Back to muffins sorry Sonnjea. A muffineer is a muffin engineer. His or her specific job is fixing muffins that haven't worked out properly because of a lack of baking powder or too much stirring. He makes the muffins puffy again.

He can magically re-puff them after they've baked? Now THAT is worth its weight in gold!

A Muffineer is a specialist auctioneer who auctions off muffins that people bake that come out looking like other things. i.e. somebody bakes a batch of muffins and one comes out looking like the shape of Jesus on the cross....worth big bucks to the right person....so the baker of the muffins calls the Muffineer, who sets up an auction and sells this amazing muffin to the highest bidder.

A muffineer is an unfortunate allergic reaction to certain types of foods suffered only by reindeer.
There are several types of muffineer: Strawberry, blueberry, and worst of all, boysenberry. The reaction causes the ear of the reindeer to swell like the belly of an overweight person stuffed into too small britches. Berry colored blotches appear on the muffineer within seconds.

We humans may think that we are the only species capable of conquering the world, but this is not the case.

"Anton d'climb was a daring and courageous ant. Sitting astride the highest blueberry peak,he knew that he had made it, he was finally a muffineer!"

I think a muffineer must be a special appliance for making muffins -- sort of like a bread machine, but with a device that mixes the batter and squirts it into the muffin tins on the bottom, which then bake...

A muffineer is a person who makes ear muffs...all kinds of ear muffs. There are the traditional ear muffs, but there are also gold lame ear muffs, patent leather ear muffs, and even spandex ear muffs. When it's cold out, I wear red rubber ear muffs, all thanks to my local muffineer!

Muffineer:
It's a little known fact that Mickey Mouse was originally called Micky Muffin. The mouscateers were originally going to be Muffineers. However, because the children kept eating the muffins instead of leaving them attached to their ears, the idea was canned and Mickey Mouse was born. The rest is history.

A Muffineer is a few things, one being a shaker, like a sugar shaker, another found in the dictonary is a bowl or platter to keep muffins warm. You can find all sorts of "Muffineers" on auction sites.
