Pruinose

Posted Friday 6 November
Pruinose means frosted with a white powdery substance. Apparently it's a word used by natural history buffs. Not being one of those myself, I've never heard of it before. However, my famous chocolate brownie is pruinose with icing sugar. Thanks to Dancerella for a winning meaning today.

Pruinose is a disease caused by prunes.

Pruinose is a very bad disease that causes aches and pains in your bones, a terrible rash (usually around the stomach area but it may vary), terrible stomach cramps and constipation. Luckily, it can't last more than 48. Plus, you can only get it when you're around 13-22. Some kind of hormonal thing.

I have never gotten Pruinose before because I hate prunes so therefor I don't have to worry about it!

I meant to say 48 hours. Sorry.

A pruinose is a car that is powered by gasses produced from boiled prunes; said to get 65 miles to the gallon and these nose-shaped cars do not require oils or lubes.
