Porbeagle

A porbeagle hasn't got anything to do with dogs, oddly enough. It's actually a mackerel shark. Now, what is a mackerel shark, you may be asking? My answer is, I have no idea - except that it's a porbeagle. That conversation isn't getting anywhere, so I'll move on. Thanks for your fascinating and well thought out meanings today. I enjoyed them all. Auntibeck streaked away on the poll with a big win today. Great work Aunti!

I'm feeling a little volant this morning. Thanks for the votes!
A porbeagle is a carry case for medium sized dogs. It is only just larger than the dog it carries with a door at the back for entry and a clear plastic dome at the front for its head. If it barks too much the dome mists up thus muffling the din. Extraction of the dog requires a 90 degree turn and a good shake.

Pronounced PORb-eagle, a Porbeagle is a small bird of prey that has to make lots of pounces to catch any prey.

It's the sticky leftovers that tenaciously cling to one's breakfast bowl following a hasty repast.

A sweater-vest from the 1980s, or any jersey knitted by your mother-in-law with a ill-thought-out animal pattern on the front.

The Swedish version of the bagel. Has more yeast, less salt, and is deep fried, hence, no reason to toast them. Very popular in Solvang and other American enclaves where Swedish bakeries thrive. The most popular bakeries cut them out in shapes for certain holidays; i.e., windmills.
