Opsimath is an architectural term used to describe the concept of making something you draught/draw be on a relevant scale visually/optically. In other words, it is making sure a diagram is to scale.
It kind of makes me think of aftermath, as in seeing what the hurricane or tornado has done. The opsimath is a result of a toddler making accidental messes. "Oopsie!" Now mommy has to clean up the spilled apple juice or Kool-Aid.
Sometimes it takes three good floor cleanings to get the stickness off the floor. Yuck. That's oopsimath.
