Filibeg
Apparently filibeg is the Scottish word for kilt. Correct me if I'm wrong. I always thought kilt was the Scottish word for kilt, but there you go. Your meanings for filibeg were wonderful, even if there were fewer than usual. Perhaps everyone's busy with the festive season. Thanks to Pastor Phil for the clarification on the meaning of filibeg as Gaelic for little kilt. Very helpful. The winner, though, was Mandy, who got the most votes on a poll which was sometimes AWOL. It came back eventually with Mandy as the champ. Great work!

A Filibeg is a blanket that covers a young female horse.
A filibeg is the polite term for a bag that one might require when ill. In the days before en suites, these would be left next to the beds of invalids, or thoughtfully provided by one's butler after a night of over-indulgence.
In the early days of flying, the word was used to describe bags in First Class, and indeed could still be heard on Concorde well into the 80's.
What rubbish Brian!
Filibeg is a posh sort of pasty tart you get in those poncy restaurants where pudding comes with dribbles of juice, a shaking of icing sugar and a marzipan flower stuck at a jaunty angle.
Filibeg is the upper class term for a bag lady - one who roams the streets with bin bags full of her belongings. Obviously in a more respectable part of town I would think.

filibeg (v) - to ask for more than you bargained for.
Heidi cried out "Speech! Speech!" The rest of the room sat in fuming silence. As she looked sheepishly around she realized her fatal mistake - one should never ask a preacher for a speech - even on his birthday. That is the worst kind of filibeg.
Filibeg is the act of buying a really expensive bottle of french mineral water and refilling with tap water when empty so you can look like one of those hip bottled water drinkers rather than the lowly tap water folks.
Harold noticed that his Perrier filibeg was beginning to draw some long desired attention from the attractive secretary in his office building.
