Ullage
Ullage is the correct word to describe the amount by which a container falls short of being full. So I suppose negative people look at the ullage instead of the liquid in a glass. I hope that makes sense to those reading. If not, I apologise. The voters chose Katy.did's invented meaning as the fave of the day. Katy.did well!
