Siriasis

Siriasis is actually sunstroke. We're more likely to be prone to it down here in the southern hemisphere at the moment - although today's weather was pretty changeable. The garden was pleased of the rain though. Shari's entry was the favourite with the voters this time. Great work Shari.

Siriasis sounds like a medical condition.

Siriasis is the mind-set of the person who expects to be treated like royalty.

His wife was so sick of his "siriasis" attitude that she gave him a piece of humble pie.

Siriasis is what a knight at the round table was called when king Aurthur would "knock him down a peg" and he would be grumpy...
meaning Sir.. Knight iasis ... grumpy.
Sir Lancelot's name was changed to Sir Iasis due to he disreguarded King Arthur's orders

Siriasis is the area surrounding a desert oasis, where the camel train is permitted to stop for the night. It is a little-known fact that you have to get a siriasis licence to water your animals at some of these sites.

Siriasis was a racehorse that won the Melbourne Cup in 1953. The reason he is so well-remembered is because the only reason he won was because all the other horses or jockeys had mishaps, and he was the only horse that finished the race with rider intact. He was paying huge odds, as he was never considered to win. His owner believed in quitting while he was ahead and Siriasis never raced again.

Siriasis describes someone who's had too much alcohol on New Years Eve and starts kissing everyone in sight.
