Longanimity

Longanimity is long suffering with a view to revenge in the future. Nasty. Good to have a word for it though. Loved your invented meanings for longanimity and big congrats to Loonilidi who outdid herself with lots of votes today. Great work!

The Longanimity Campaign has been active for many years now, and is the most prominent voice opposing discrimination against short people. Truly the world will be a better place when total longanimity is achieved among humanity.

Loganimity describes those frequent occasions when you do not wish to be recognised and choose to dress up as a dead tree. This disguise is naturally most effective in forests and woodland rather than the high street.
