Glyptography

Glyptography is the art of engraving on gem stones. More new information for my tired brain. I can't recall having ever seen an engraved gem stone but there you go. Thanks to the dedicated band of word imps who are keeping things going while some of our number are busy with other duties. I appreciate your commitment. Your meanings were great and the best of all, according to pollsters, was Magdalene. Great work!

A camera inserted in the eyes of spies that can take pictures of their subject just by them blinking quickly 3 times in a row.

Glyptography is a full body scan which is designed to detect excess bone matter. This can then be removed by an operation known as a glyptotomy. Excess bone matter is described as bones that are thicker than they need to be to support the weight on them.

The whole thing is the latest most desperate attempt by supermodels to get even thinner.

A glyptography is a cross between a biography and an autopsy. It is the story of a person's life that is based on the findings of their autopsy. It leans to the scientific, but anecdotal and emotional information are somethimes present.

For obvious reasons, there is no such thing as an Autoglyptography.

1x Chopping block, 2x axe heads: Probably Tudor.

Glyptography is when a klutz makes it look like a dance when he or she gets clumsy.

Gillian from Gilligan's Island started this trend, making clumsiness pure art. There are so many movies with glyptography in it now.

Glyptography is the study of a new stream of music that is emerging amongst the youth of the Caribbean Islands. A mix of Calypso and Grunge, it has many music scholars talking at great length about the rebellious nature of this angry island music.
