Killick

A killick is a small anchor or a heavy stone used as an anchor. Great meanings again today. Thanks to all my regular word imps for your continued dedication. I appreciate it immensely. The winner on the poll was Realityjunkie. Well done, RJ.

A killick is a very small hillock, so small in fact it is actually just a raised lump in the turf. The defining feature of a killick is that you cannot not trip over it. I guess when you do you can say you have been killicked.

A Killick is what your husband gives you when he comes home from the pub after consuming one too many Kilkenny Irish beers. It's supposed to be a kiss hello and an apology for being so late all rolled into one, but as he stumbles through the door and tries to plant the kiss on your lips, he starts to sway, misses your lips and ends up giving you a big Killick on your ear instead.

I love all of the meanings so much that I will not play today! Oh, it must be so difficult to have to choose!

It is when dogs lick you after licking the 'unmentionables'. It makes you want to kill the dog.
