Terebinth

A terebinth is a turpentine tree. It still doesn't make a heck of a lot of sense to me but I trust the dictionary so we'll leave it at that. Your meanings for terebinth, on the other hand, were superb - particularly the meaning of Dogmum. Great work!

Here's her clever meaning: James Cameron was originally going to call his latest hit movie Terebinth. But one morning he awoke suddenly at 3:22am, sat up in bed, and said the word "Avatar". The rest is history. Well, modern history, since it's only fairly recent.

I don't know if I could top that!
I think that a terebinth is a labyrinth that is unerground in a cave.

Enjoy the day!

I think you just did Erin! Your meanings are so concise and obvious. Ever thought of writing your own dictionary?

Terebinth is a very new word, even though it does sound quite ancient. It describes the process of trying to access someone's new blog and not being able to.

Terebinth sounds like a quite ancient word, but it is actually very recent. Terebinth describes the process arouind trying to access a new blog and not being able to!

Anonymous,I hope I can help with this. Your meaning has obviously worked. I wonder if you are wishing to have a name. If so, click on the Name/URL choice. It comes up with two options. Write whatever name you want in the Name space and ignore the other one. Then just press the orange publish your comment key. Please let me know if that's helpful.

Also, Anonymous, I just realised you may have meant something different about not being able to access the blog. Perhaps you wondered why you thought you had added a comment but it didn't come up immediately. That happens to everyone. It's so I can moderate the comments first and make sure there is nothing offensive. Hope that helps too.
