The Goniometer is an instrument that measures the length of the extended tongue of a monitor lizard.
Goniometers measure whether people really have ghosts in their houses, and if the goniometric reading is zero, probably their cabinets and doors are just all warped and air pressure is opening and closing them sometimes.
Instead of measuring, goniometers are more of a counting system used to count the number of days before a special event, such as the 21st birthday, a wedding, graduation, vacation time, a loved one returning home from college or from military work, and so forth.
There are a lot of goniometers on blogs that countdown the number of days to Christmas.
As a puss cat, I know that this is a small timing device which can be clipped to the side of a pet food bowl. It measures the ratio of the amount of time taken to for a meal to be gone against the quantity dolloped out.
We cats are a bit picky and flicky so we rarely beat the dogs' record of 0.1 on the goniometer scale.
