Scansorial

Scansorial is about climbing. It either seems to refer to the action of climbing or the part of the anatomy of an animal which has been adapted for climbing. Your invented meanings, of course, were far more interesting and complicated. Well done to Sandy Feet who got most of the votes on the poll. Great meaning.

Scansorial is the unwritten code of practice of tabloid newspapers not to write anything to scandalous about the British prime minister or royal family.

I'd say I'm a scansorial puss cat. It means I'm the type who is always scanning the horizon with a mysterious air as though something strange or exciting is about to happen. For humans, I'd say James Bond is a scansorial type.

Scansorial courts are small-claims courts that deal with interpersonal issues, rather than crimes policemen and the government deal with. Disputes between neighbors, ex-boyfriend won't return the DVDs.... little scansorial stuff.

A scansorial is another name for a hide, where cats can wait patiently for little animals or birds to pass by, and then they can jump on them.

A scansorial is a recap of what has gone before.. This is often used at the beginning of a TV drama which is being shown in six part when the voice-over says .... "the story up 'til now.." and then proceeds to whiz through the previous 2-hour episode in 6 seconds.

A scansorial is when someone blathers on about something they know very little about. Political candidates are notorious for their scansorial diatribes when they don't have a good answer.

Scansorial means to focus on the details rather than the whole, to see not only the trees rather than the forest, but to see the bark and the leaves, and all the bugs and other creatures, no matter how small or how hidden.

Scansorial is a homemade book of MRI shots the scan operators sell in the foyer of hospitals to raise money for a new scanner because the other one is a bit bonky as people keep using it for inappropriate things, like fundraising books.

Scansorial is an editorial about a scandalous or sordid event, such as the governor of New York's recent embarrassing rompings.

Scansorial is a word which referrs to something which tastes fishy, it is rarely used these days being replaced in the late 18th Century with the far more common term "fishy"

Though in Japan they do still do a flavour of Icecream called "Scansorial" or "kingyo" in their language. MMmmmm

A scansorial is simply a tutorial for ultrasonographers. They help remind health professionals that the likelihood of finding an ectopic pregnancy in the carotid aretery is nil.

Scansorial: Not well known to the general public yet. Mostly used within tight scientic circles of government studies. Scansorial refers to the outbreak of hundreds of oozing pinprick sores spread throughout the body caused by years of repeated exposure to untested comercial body type scanning devices.
