I think perspicuous could mean how you feel when you're turning a screw into a piece of wood but you're getting nowhere.
Maybe perspicuous means the feeling you have all day on Friday the 13th, waiting for something bad to happen.
I think perspicuous is how you feel when you are visible behind a piece of perspex - like conspicuous but because it's perspex you are perspicuous.
