Funicular

A funicular is a cable railway on a steep mountainside. Sounds scary! Thanks for your very inventive meanings for this lovely word. I chose the suggestion of Hey Jude as today's winner. It sounds like it fits well.
Here is her fine contribution: "Funicular is part of the science of inventing roller coaster rides. It describes the degree of loops, twists and turns you can have without the carriage de-railing or passengers falling out."

I think a funicular would be a machine similar to a Victrola, except that when cranked, instead of emitting music, it would spill forth will all manner of exciting and enjoyable things.

I think funicular is the adjective describing the sound created when any gooey liquid oozes down a series of tubes and/or funnels.
