Kickshaw
I had never heard of the word kickshaw until I found it in the dictionary yesterday. It's meaning could be useful though. My dictionary explains kickshaw as usually a derogatory term for a fancy cooked meal. Too fancy presumably. It then goes on to add the terms toy and trifle. I kind of get it. Your invented meanings were much easier to understand, clever and very enjoyable. Thanks for playing. And well done to silver_flight for a winning meaning on the poll today.

A kickshaw is a scooter with a seat in the back.
I reckon a kickshaw must be a rickshaw pulled by a bad tempered donkey.
Kickshaw is a footballing (soccer) term. A kickshaw sounds as though it should be an accurate kicking of the ball but actually it means the opposite - it is a kick which starts to curl to the left from the moment it leaves the foot (from a combination of the words kick and haw which is a teamster's term signaling a turn to the left).
(How extraordinary, I did a post which included the word kickshaw on my word blog today! Sometimes I 'pinch' words I've found here but this was pure coincidence.)
To 'kickshaw' is to trip over and fall flat on your face when attempting a skateboarding stunt. Especially used with the person has made a big deal of being able to do it, then fails miserably.
A kickshaw is a bad review on a performance of Pygmalion.
It's a particularly violent sneeze, often causing loss of balance due to sheer reactive force. The world's most powerful kickshaw is rumoured to have catapulted the sufferer at least four feet into the air.
Interestingly, my dictionary gave kickshaw as a synonym for a tidbit but didn't suggest it was derogatory or anything as large as a fancy meal. Obviously one of those words with a number of meanings so its use could be pretty confusing.
